Francis R. Leddy, 85, passed away peacefully, on Monday, May 4, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Tedesco) Leddy. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Policastro) Leddy.

Frank was employed by Narragansett Electric for 35 years. He was a proud United States Army Veteran.

Besides his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his step-daughter's Lisa Sindoni and Diane Erickson and step-father of the late Joseph Sindoni Jr. and children Nancy Lee Rudacevsky of Cranston, Mary Beth Nordstrom of Cranston, Frank Leddy Jr. of Johnston and Bradley Leddy of Providence, Dianne Leddy of Cranston, and the late Kelly Andersen and late Ronald Leddy, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Frank also leaves his brother Ronald Leddy and wife Ann, and his sister Muriel McDade. He was the brother of the late Joseph Leddy and late sister of Dorothy Allegra.

Frank had an amazing personality and a tremendous sense of humor that never diminished. He always had a smile on his face and a great one-liner to make people laugh. There was nothing more that Frank enjoyed better than an interesting conversation with a good friend. He could have an engaging conversation with anyone. Frank cherished the years he spent watching and playing with his grandson, Joseph. He also enjoyed to be at social gatherings with his family and friends. Frank will be dearly missed by all.

The memorial service will be private with family and close friends
due to the current circumstances regarding this pandemic.
