Robert N. Robideau,
Robert N. Robideau, of Providence, RI, died peacefully on Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at Orchard View Manor. He was 58 years old.
Robert was born to Norman Robideau and the late Theresa Robideau and was the oldest of three children. He graduated from LaSalle Academy and spent two years at Rhode Island College.
For 39 years he worked at Roger Williams Hospital in food service.
Along with his father, he leaves behind two sisters Donna Faella and Brenda Robideau. He also leaves a nephew, Jason Robideau, and three great-nieces, Ava, Lana, and Sophia.
Robert made a lot of friends in his lifetime and loved every one of them like family. He loved traveling, music, reading and, of course, his crossword puzzles. He played Santa Claus many times at the Christmas parties at Roger Williams Hospital. He had a wonderful sense of humor. His family was the most important thing in his life. He made so many memories and kept family traditions going for his nieces to always remember him by.
Robert made every day count because he never knew if it would be his last, so he did not want to waste it. He will always be known for his generosity and genuine, unconditional love for his family and friends. His spirit will endure through those who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, April 27th at 10:00am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Ave., Providence. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
