I meet Bob way back in the seventies. A Mount Pleasant neighbor. There was always a bond between us. He was a genuine friend. In this world if a person has one or two true friends in their lifetime they are fortunate. I lost my genuine friend. I know he has gone to heaven because Jesus needs him now. I will miss our conversations of books, movies and TV shows, our frequent breakfasts at Ts, the amazing puns in the Christmas cards we exchanged every year, the Christmas Village on the mantle that he was so proud of, our talks of the current Jeopardy champions, and most recently our almost daily text messages - bless you Donna for arranging that so we could still exchange our thoughts and ideas. It was a long difficult road but I never once heard Bob complain. He always looked forward. He was a man devoted to family and of undying faith and a true faithful friend. I will miss him very much.
