John DiCandito (Shifty), 91, passed away peacefully at home with his daughter on Monday, April 7.

John was born on Federal Hill in Providence where he continued to spend most of his days cooking and hanging with his friends.

John leaves behind his daughter Paula Perotta of Florida, his companion Ruth Toy of Johnston, and many dear friends.

He will be sadly missed.

Services will be private.
