u.s. flag George M. Kelly, 82, passed away peacefully on December 25th, 2024 at Elmhurst Rehab & Healthcare Center, Providence, RI. Born and raised in Providence, he was the son of the late Leo J. and Irene C. (Hudson) Kelly.

George had a love for cooking and was a chef at the Coast Guard House in Narragansett many years ago. He enjoyed Ice sculpting, Bocce, Poetry, Fishing and had a special interest in Aircraft Aviation. He served in the US Army and was a member of the West End Neighborhood Council.

He is survived by his two sisters, Helen M. Dube of Cranston, R.I. & Catherine F. Martins of Belo Horizonte, Brazil and several niece's & nephew's. He was predeceased by his siblings Edward J., Joseph L. & Phillip T. Kelly, Marie R. Reid, Mary T. McGee and Virginia A. Patterson.

Memorial and Burial services at the RI Veterans Cemetery will be private.
