Henry Green, 69, spent his final days surrounded by his loving family; and entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024. He was born July 13, 1955, in Sumter, South Carolina to Geneva Green and the late Bernie Green.

Henry grew up in Connecticut and lived in Maryland , New York and Pennsylvania before settling in Providence, RI.

He is remembered as someone with an imaginative, artistic gift and resourceful skills to create from almost anything he came across. Henry was a carpenter, an avid fisherman, professional painter, and all-around handyman. A stylish trend setter, he will he remembered for his many sayings that would make everyone around him laugh.

Henry had a special relationship with his nieces and nephew - he was loved and adored by his entire family and will be missed forever.

He is predeceased by his father, Bernie Green, sister Annette Green, and great niece Janessa Green. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother, Geneva Green; brother Willie Lee Brown (Jennifer), sister Gladys Green (Paul), brother Sammie Green (Virginia), sister Bessie Green, sister Zandra Berrios, and sister Keisha Beasley: children Jaunita Green-Garcia (David) and Korey L. Riggins; five grandchildren Lania, Ja'Nyla, Nelson, Abella and Isyss, and lots of friends and loved ones.

Viewing in Skeffington Funeral Home and Cremations, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence on Wednesday, October 30th from 11-12 with a service at Noon followed by interment in Pocasset Cemetery, 417 Dyer Avenue, Providence.
