James Jones, age 89, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022. He was born on April 9, 1933, in Providence, RI, the son of the late Thomas & Bertha Jones. He was married to Elizabeth Henault Jones, whom he married on June 18, 1957.
He is survived by his daughter Deborah Jones of Cranston and son Edward Jones (Julie McGill) of Houston, TX, brother Thomas Jones of North Kingston, and sister Beverly Black of Jamestown. He is preceded in death by his sister Nancy Johnson of Arkansas.
He graduated from Aldrich High School and worked at Federated Lithographers and then at Tri Color Lithography in Providence, RI until his retirement.
He enjoyed RVing and traveling. He loved spending time with his cat Scarlet who lived to be 20 years old.
