Margaret was a resident of Providence most of her life. She graduated from Bay View Academy in 1956. After attending Rhode Island College, she worked at Amica Insurance Co. She was sister to four siblings, now deceased: Martina Hodge, Dr. Joseph Tracy, Richard Tracy, and Mary Robinson

Margaret was a devout Catholic and member of the St. Jude’s Novena. She worked as a special education teacher’s aide for the Providence School Department for 25 years and was a member of the RI 1033 Laborers’ Union.
