Mary T. Cullinan, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at South County Hospital. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Francis Cullinan and Evelyn (McGann) Cullinan. Mary resided in Narragansett for the last 25 years, previously living in North Providence.
Mary graduated from St. Mary’s Academy of the Visitation and Rhode Island College of Education with a degree in elementary education. She retired from the Providence School system after many memorable and enjoyable years of teaching.
A longtime member of the Irish Setter Club of America and the Irish Setter Club of New England she owned and showed many champion Irish Setters throughout the years. She was always ready to travel with new and old friends.
Survivors include her cousins, Sr. Emerita McGann, CDP, Catherine Petrucci, Trudy Devine, and John McGann.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 864 Point Judith Rd., Narragansett, RI, on Wednesday, September 22 at 11am. Interment will be private.
