Helen (Smile) Allcock, 90, of Riverside passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tim) Allcock, to whom she was married for 28 years.

Helen is survived by her two sons, Todd and Joel Allcock and their families, five grandchildren, and a loving extended family.

Helen was born in Pawtucket on August 4, 1930, to Samuel and Ida (Dash) Smile, as the fifth of seven children. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings George, Fran (Kerim), John, Arthur, Rose (Larisa) and Thomas, and is survived by her baby sister Donna (Benetti).

Helen graduated from Pawtucket East High School in 1948, and worked in finance before raising her children. She loved her family and animals, and she gave generously to charitable causes.

Memorial donations may be made to your local animal shelter in honor of the Helen’s great compassion for animals in need. Helen and her family would also like to extend their sincere gratitude to the numerous visiting nurses and hospice workers who made her final days as comfortable as possible.

Private funeral will be held on Thursday, August 19th at a graveside service administered by JF Skeffington Funeral Home.
