As I prepare to attend Lee's wake, I vividly recall that of my mother, forty-five years ago. I was only nine and did not attend the evening calling hours; Lee was the person who stayed home with me. She helped me go through all the mass cards, very matter-of-factly explaining who each person was and how they knew my mother. I felt safe with her, and I know my mom would have been happy that we continued to be close as I grew up and moved into the house next door to her in Bonnet Shores. I can't express how sad Maggie and I are, and how much we will miss her.

Lee penciled me in for next week and for one excursion in the month of January. Oh, how she will be missed on these dates and all the other "would have been's"

Lord we give her back to you who first gave her to us, And as youi did not lose her in the giving, so we do not lose her in the return for what is yours is ours also if we belong to you.
Lift us up Jesus that we may see further, cleanse our eyes that we might see further, Prepare a place in heaven for those we love, through Christ Our Lord. Amen

I met Lee at gentle yoga at the Y many years ago. We both had aging moms and she helped give me perspective and always asked how things were going. I recognized her picture in the Narr Times (not knowing her full name) and was saddened to learn of your loss.
Namaste Lee.
