Steven Frederick Turner, 55, of 65 Grandview Street, Providence, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015.  Bprn in Providence on February 11, 1960, he was the son of the late Ernest Turner Sr. and Joyce Marie Turner.

Steven was a Class of 1979 Graduate of Providence’s Hope High School and was a life-long resident of the city of Providence.

Steven attended CCRI of Warwick, RI from 1981 to 1983. He was employed at Amica Insurance (1980-1990), Clean Giant, and School House Candy.  He also loved sports including basketball, football, and baseball among others.    

Steven is survived by his brothers Curtis H. Starks of Providence, Ernest H. Turner Jr. of North Providence, Robert V. Turner of Foxboro, MA, two half-brothers, Kyle and Kobe Dennis of Providence, and a host of extended family members and friends.

“Steve” will truly be missed and always and forever in our hearts!

Visiting hours will be in J.F.M. Skeffington Funeral Home, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence on Friday from 11-12pm. Funeral services at the funeral home at Noon. Steven will be laid to rest at North Burial Ground, Providence, on August 7, 2015
