Teodolinda E. Jacome, 93, of Capitol Ridge, 700 Smith Street, Providence, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the wife of the late Victor Jara. Born in Ecuador, South America, she was the daughter of the late Aquilino and Juana (Garcia) Jacome. Surviving is a daughter who loved her dearly, Martha Y. Castellar and her husband Adolfo Castellar, and her late daughter Juana R. Guerrero.

She loved her ten grandchildren who treasured her, Elizabeth Espinal and husband Ramon Espinal, Wilbert Gomez and wife Tracey Gomez, David W. Gomez and wife Katherine Gomez, Cecibel Gomez-Castillo and husband Alex Castillo, Maricela Gomez, Adolfo Castellar Jr. and wife Jessica Castellar, Priscilla Garcia, L. Paul Garcia and wife Eloisa Moran Garcia, Julio Garcia, and Yesenia Guerrero.

She also leaves behind her beautiful 15 great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Christopher, Gabrielle, Michael-Paul, Emily, Isabella, Orlando, Victoria, Olivia, Elias, Ariana, Steven, and Paul, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Vladimir, Omar and Jayleen.

She will always be remembered by her steadfast will, her nurturing heart and radiating smile that lights up a room.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 10:00am in the J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 5:00-8:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in North Burial Ground, Providence.
