Dianne Marie (Picerne) Del Vicario, 76, of Providence, RI passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 1, 2016 after a long illness. Dianne was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Dorothy (Dwyer) Picerne.

Dianne was the proud mother of 5 children: Daniel M. Piccoli, David A. Piccoli, Dayna L. (Piccoli) Beretta, Anthony J. Del Vicario III, and Dax P. Del Vicario. She was proud of her 5 grandchildren: Jonathan P. Piccoli, Nicholas A. Piccoli, Jacob H. Beretta, Matthew J. Del Vicario, Dante Del Vicario, and Dyllan A. Del Vicario. She also leaves behind her son-in-law Victor J. Beretta and daughter-in-law Marie Del Vicario. She also leaves her siblings, Dianne Ostiguy, Carol Andreozzi, Elaine Lanni, and Dante Sciarra, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the former wife to Henry Piccoli and Anthony J. Del Vicario, Jr.

Dianne will be greatly missed for her big laugh, vivacious personality, ravenous appetite for good food and wine, and her love for her family. She had loyal friends, co-workers, and a cat, Lilly. She loved to travel, loved the beach and sunbathing, liked to cook and was an avid reader.

Born on November 29, 1939 in Providence, RI, Dianne was a graduate of Elmhurst Academy of the Sacred Heart ('57), Barry University ('61) and the John Robert Powers Modeling School of NY. She was a dedicated mental health and behavioral health counselor at the former RIARC and Seven Hills Organizations, restaurant manager, and bookkeeper.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, September 9th at 10:00am in the St. Pius V Church, 55 Elmhurst Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
