Marie R. Wilkinson, was born June 22, 1939, to the late Irving B. Williams, and Dora G. Williams, in Putnam, CT. She departed this life at 131 Allston Street after a brief illness on April 10, 2016.

She attended the Westerly School system. She was employed as a Lunch Aid in the public school system for several years. She also worked as a Housing Restorer in Allentown, PA and was also a Greeter at Walmart, CT until retirement.

She received Christ while at West View Rehab, West Warwick, RI

She leaves to cherish her memory, her companion Bruce Heimbach of Providence, RI. Seven children George (Brenda) Wilkinson, Coventry RI, Deborah Wilkinson, Providence, RI. Roger (Lisa) Wilkinson, Venus FL, Ronnie (Anna) Wilkinson Providence, RI. Treasure Wilkinson of New York, Warren Wilkinson of North Dakota, Delonida (Peter) Ashby of Providence, RI; two brothers Robert and Donald Williams who proceed her in death. Two sisters June Chapman of Groton, CT, and Dora (Robert) Strother of Stone Mountain, GA, eighteen Grandchildren, Nine Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Marie will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visiting Hours Saturday, April 16th from 10:00 to 11:30am with a Funeral Service at 11:30am in the J.F. Skeffington Chapel, 925 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in North Burial Ground.
