Gail & Family,
I want to extend profound sympathy to you on Ed's passing. I knew Ed mostly through the State Senate. He was a very sincere, knowledgeable, patient, and wise counsel to all of us who sought his advice and guidance. But, evenmore, he was genuine and fair to everyone. He was compassionate and engaging. He was a "Prince of a Guy' who I was most privileged to know. I will miss him. I will keep him in my prayers.
J. Clement 'Bud' Cicilline

J. Clement Cicilline (Newport. RI)

My sincere sympathy on the passing of Ed. Spending many nights at Waterfire in deep discussions with Ed about one thing or another always added to the interest of the night. He will be missed.

Sharon Moylan (Providence, RI)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time!

Micheline & Edward Boyce (Coventry, RI)

Gail: Jane and I are so very saddened to learn of Ed's passing. Just several weeks ago, Ed and I had a great conversation about among other things baseball and Tuscany. He again regaled me with the story of attending the final Bosox regular season game of 1967 in which they clinched the pennant. I will cherish that along with all the memories from law school and our time at Wilkinson, Cragun & Barker, both legal related and extracurricular.

Philip and Jane Nacke (Washington, D.C..)

Ed and you will always be part of wonderful memories of Providence and ballet for me. What a huge loss for all. His kindness and caring for others was so obvious-as is yours. I'm truly sorry for this loss to the community, you and your families, and all the friends he reached out and embraced over the years.

Liz Carren (Annapolis MD)

Dear Gail, We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved Ed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Elaine, Pat, Peggy and Ray. With our deepest sympathy

Charles & Muriel LaFontaine (Forestdale RI)

Gail and family. My sincere sympathy for your loss. I was fortunate to be a friend of Ed at LaSalle and Providence College. Our paths crossed occasionally over the years and I enjoyed those conversations. His intelligence and wit and devotion to family will be missed. Rest in Pease.

Richard Angelone (Bluffton, SC)
